The 15th International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Southeast Asia (SEA) Region Conference and Expo will take place from 5–7 October 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The annual event brings together millers, technical specialists and industry partners from Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and other countries across the wider Southeast Asian region. Over three days, the conference will focus on practical learning, technical exchange and discussions around operational challenges facing the milling industry.
The 2026 programme has been structured around key areas of relevance to mill operations, including maintenance, food safety, pest control, efficiency, artificial intelligence, and environmental, health and safety (EHS). The programme will also include a Mill Maintenance Excellence Workshop led by Dr. Jeff Gwirtz, focusing on approaches to improving maintenance practices and operational reliability.
Alongside the technical programme, the event will feature an exhibition showcasing recent technologies and solutions for the milling industry. Dedicated exhibition hours will provide participants with the opportunity to meet equipment and technology suppliers and review developments relevant to mill operations.
The conference is expected to provide a platform for industry professionals from across Southeast Asia to exchange experiences, discuss operational and technical developments, and explore solutions related to reliability, safety and efficiency in modern milling operations.
