The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) honored leading companies from around the world for their commitment to sustainability during Soy Connext 2025.
Currently, 147 companies across 21 countries feature the Sustainable U.S. Soy or Fed with Sustainable U.S. Soy labels on their products, representing 1,172 verified items available to consumers globally. This achievement underscores the growing demand for sustainably sourced ingredients and U.S. Soy’s position as the global standard in responsible production.
“Consumers are more aware than ever of how their food is produced. The Sustainable U.S. Soy label provides companies with the ability to demonstrate their commitment to responsible sourcing,” said Jim Sutter, CEO, USSEC. “The companies recognized at Soy Connext 2025 are setting a powerful example for the industry.”
The labels, available at no cost to international companies, are verified under the U.S. Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP), which ensures soy is grown under strict national regulations and best practices.
Regional recognition included:
Americas: 48 licensed companies, 10 represented at Soy Connext 2025
South Asia: 16 licensed, 5 represented
Greater China: 27 licensed, 8 represented
Northeast Asia: 36 licensed, 9 represented
Southeast Asia: 20 licensed, 4 represented
“Once we introduced the Sustainable U.S. Soy logo, we saw the value immediately. Our customers believe us, they trust us, and they value our commitment,” said Neil Suraweera, Group CEO.
The recognition of program participants highlights the global momentum of sustainable U.S. Soy. By choosing to display the label, companies are reinforcing that sustainability is not optional, but an essential element of today’s food system.
“As global demand for protein continues to rise, U.S. Soy is committed to supporting companies in meeting consumer expectations through verified, sustainable sourcing,” Sutter added.
