IFIF Elects New Leadership Team and Board for 2026–2027 Term

The International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) has announced the election of its new leadership team and Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term of office, marking a new chapter in the organization’s commitment to advancing the global feed and food value chain.

During its 38th General Assembly, IFIF members unanimously elected Constance Cullman, President and CEO of the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), as Chair for 2026–2027. She succeeds Ruud Tijssens, who successfully led IFIF as Chair from 2022 to 2025, guiding the Federation through a period of strategic growth and strengthened international collaboration.

Delegates also unanimously elected Roberto Betancourt, President of the Brazilian Feed Industry Association (Sindirações), as IFIF’s first Vice-Chair, following the adoption of the revised Articles of Association—an important milestone that reflects the Federation’s expanding global representation.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Cullman expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her and reaffirmed her dedication to IFIF’s mission.

“I deeply appreciate the honor to serve as Chair of IFIF and the trust members have placed in me at this pivotal time,” she said. “IFIF unites diverse voices across the global feed and animal food sector to tackle shared challenges and deliver safe, affordable, and nutritious food for animals – and ultimately for people. Collaboration is essential, and IFIF plays a critical role in creating an environment where our industry can succeed, driving food security, feed safety and sustainable solutions worldwide.”

Mr. Betancourt highlighted the significance of his new role and the importance of strengthening IFIF’s voice globally.

“It is truly an honor to be elected Vice-Chair of IFIF, and I thank all IFIF members for their trust,” he noted. “I look forward to working closely with the Chair and all our members to strengthen IFIF’s voice, foster collaboration, and ensure that together we meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

The General Assembly also confirmed Dr. Reinder Sijtsma, Director of Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs at Nutreco (Netherlands), as IFIF Treasurer for 2026–2027.
