Molino Rachello has officially commissioned its new agri-food storage facility in Roncade (Veneto, Italy), developed in partnership with Ocrim–SIMA. The project marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s storage infrastructure with a long-term focus on efficiency, safety, and durability.
The newly constructed facility includes fifteen silos arranged in various configurations to meet operational needs. The installation features both flat-bottom and conical-bottom silos, allowing for flexibility in handling different types of stored products. With a total capacity of 2,600 tons, the plant is designed to support reliable and hygienic storage conditions.
The structural and technical choices made for this project emphasize sanitation and ease of maintenance. Smooth sheet-metal silos contribute to an improved product flow, while conical-bottom silos enable natural self-emptying without manual or mechanical intervention. These features help reduce downtime and ensure continuous, hygienic operation.
The commissioning of this facility also reflects Ocrim’s expanding focus within the storage sector, strengthened by its January 2024 acquisition of SIMA, a recognized specialist in storage system construction. This integration has enabled Ocrim–SIMA to offer more comprehensive solutions across the supply chain.
Molino Rachello’s collaboration with Ocrim–SIMA represents a new partnership based on technical expertise and mutual trust. According to the company, this project is expected to support future operational goals while laying the groundwork for further cooperation.
