Three years after its founding merger, DER AGRARHANDEL (DAH) has established itself as a key institution within Germany’s agricultural trade associations and in the political landscape in Berlin. At its recent general meeting in Düsseldorf, members confirmed the association’s leadership and reflected on its development since uniting the Verein der Getreidehändler der Hamburger Börse e.V. (Association of Grain Traders of the Hamburg Stock Exchange) and the Bundesverband Agrarhandel e.V. (Federal Association of Agricultural Trade).
President Rainer Schuler, who was re-elected to serve another three-year term, noted the progress achieved since the merger, highlighting DAH’s growing role as a respected voice on issues such as market conditions, food and feed quality, and agricultural operating resources.
The membership unanimously endorsed continuity in leadership, with Ute Becker-Keller (Rupp Landhandel GmbH), Jaana Kleinschmit von Lengefeld (ADM Hamburg AG), and Thorsten Tiedemann (Getreide AG) also confirmed in their positions within the Presidium. Andreas Schiwek of Bunge Handelsgesellschaft mbH was newly elected Vice-President.
