The company has completed a transaction that will strengthen its presence in the Pacific Northwest

Bunge has announced the completion of its acquisition of Central Washington Corn Processors, Inc. (CWCP), one of the leading feed processing service providers in the Pacific Northwest. The St. Louis-based company announced the closing of the transaction in a press release dated 30 October 2026.

A key link in the region’s feed supply chain

Based in Richland, Washington, CWCP operates a modern bulk commodity handling facility. The facility supports the distribution of key grain and oilseed products to local dairy farms, agricultural holdings, feedlots and commercial customers.

Thanks to its strategic location, which provides access to both the BNSF and Union Pacific railway networks, the facility stands out as a key asset in the regional feed supply chain with its high-capacity unloading, storage and processing capabilities.

Rayner Freyberg, Bunge’s Country Manager for the US, stated that the transaction represents a significant step in expanding the company’s footprint in the feed solutions sector and strengthening its ability to serve customers in the Pacific Northwest. Freyberg also noted that they aim to support the continued growth of the region’s livestock and dairy sectors.

Freyberg said that by combining CWCP’s proven operations, strategic location and strong customer relationships with Bunge’s global expertise and network, they are well-positioned to improve service quality, boost efficiency and create new opportunities for customers in the region.
