In a major step to bolster its footprint in one of the Philippines’ most vital agricultural regions, Cargill has launched a strategic feed production partnership with Biotech Farms Inc., establishing a state-of-the-art feed production line at the Biotech Agro-Industrial Complex in Tantangan, South Cotabato.

The partnership marks a significant expansion of Cargill’s presence in Mindanao, home to a rapidly growing base of animal farmers, agribusinesses, and producers. With the new facility now fully operational, Cargill aims to deliver faster, more reliable, and higher-quality feed solutions that align with its mission to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.

The Tantangan feed mill has been selected through a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation process, adhering to Cargill’s stringent global standards in food and feed safety, quality assurance, and operational excellence. Equipped with modern milling technology and high-performance production systems, the facility is designed to meet the increasing demand for animal nutrition solutions across the region.

Mindanao, with its dynamic agricultural landscape, plays a critical role in the Philippines' food production ecosystem. Cargill’s investment in the region underscores its long-term vision of strengthening the country’s food security and agricultural productivity.
