Alapala Feed Tech has commissioned a feed mill with a capacity of 5 tonnes per hour in Georgia

Alapala International Inc. has completed the turnkey feed mill project it carried out for Agro Universal in Georgia and has commissioned the facility. The facility, which has a production capacity of 5 tonnes per hour, was designed for the production of both powdered and pelletised feed.

Founded in 2017, Agro Universal operates as the authorised representative of a Hungary-based company whilst also continuing its activities in the fields of feed production and international export. With the new facility, the company aims to produce a range of feed products for poultry, pigs, dairy cattle and small ruminants. It was noted that the facility has been designed to meet European quality and hygiene standards.

All stages of the project were carried out on a turnkey basis

As part of the project, which was carried out on a turnkey basis by Alapala Feed Tech, work was carried out on process engineering, plant engineering, equipment manufacture and supply, mechanical assembly, electrical works, automation integration, commissioning, performance optimisation and operator training.

It was reported that the production process, from raw material reception to the packaging of the final product, is controlled via a PLC-based automation system. The system aims to support operational reliability, traceability in production processes and consistency in product quality.

The completed project serves as a new example of Alapala Feed Tech’s work within the scope of its international feed mill projects. Through turnkey projects, the company manages the engineering, equipment supply, installation and commissioning processes for feed production facilities for clients in various markets.

The commissioning of the facility in Georgia is intended to enable Agro Universal to expand its commercial feed production capacity and increase its product range for various livestock sectors, whilst the project also stands out as part of Alapala Feed Tech’s activities in international markets.
