Scoular, a US-based agricultural and commodities company, has announced the appointment of seven new vice-presidents who will be responsible for managing key business areas and functions within the company.
The newly appointed executives will take on leadership roles across the company’s various business units, whilst contributing to the implementation of Scoular’s corporate values and the development of business processes.
Katryna Floersch has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources. Floersch serves as the human resources partner for various functions at Scoular, as well as for the Ingredients & Oilseed Crush Division. With experience in organisational structure, workforce planning and employee relations, Floersch has over 20 years’ experience in human resources across the manufacturing, food and technology sectors.
Angie Gallagher has been appointed Vice President of Finance. Having gained over 25 years’ experience in corporate tax, internal audit, global business services, financial planning and analysis, and corporate risk management throughout her career, Gallagher joined Scoular in 2021. She currently leads the Corporate Accounting, Tax and Internal Audit departments.
Chris Gervasini has taken on the role of Vice President of Information Technology. Having joined Scoular over 25 years ago as a helpdesk analyst, Gervasini has held various roles within the company. He currently leads the teams responsible for developing and supporting core business systems, whilst also spearheading a corporate project focused on process improvement, automation and the application of artificial intelligence to business processes.
Jordan Hasan has been appointed Vice President of Legal Affairs, Head of Compliance and Deputy Corporate Secretary. Hasan will be responsible for compliance, labour and employment matters, and legal disputes. Prior to joining Scoular in 2019, Hasan worked at a law firm in Omaha specialising in employment and commercial litigation; he will draw on his legal experience in his new role.
Jeremy Koeppe has also been appointed as Vice President of Finance. With experience in the agricultural and energy commodities sectors, Koeppe joined Scoular in 2020. Having established first the Financial Planning and Analysis team and subsequently the Commodity Risk Management team within the company, Koeppe will be responsible for the financial operations of the Ingredients & Oilseed Crush Division in his new role.
TJ Mandl will serve as Vice President and General Manager of the Grain Division’s Southern Region. Having gained experience in plant operations and commercial activities throughout his 20-year career at Scoular, Mandl also contributed to the development of the company’s joint venture with Pratt Energy in Pratt, Kansas.
Matt O’Hern has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Grain Division’s Eastern Region. Having started his career at Scoular on a management development programme in Kansas, O’Hern has held various roles, including in commodities trading, buying and selling, and plant management. Promoted to Regional General Manager last summer, O’Hern will focus on innovative practices in his new role to enhance efficiency and business results.
