Silos Spain, with international experience in grain storage and processing equipment, is implementing a new expansion project for Chile-based Alisur. This project, which aims to increase Alisur's operational capacity, is a continuation of the first expansion phase, which was successfully completed in recent months.
The new phase will involve the installation of three elevated silos, each 8.40 metres high, and integrated transport systems for these silos. These systems will increase operational efficiency in grain transport and unloading. In addition, four truck loading silos with a diameter of 3.82 metres will be added to the facility. This will enable faster and more regular logistics processes.
The commissioning of the new structures will significantly increase Alisur's storage capacity. This development will ensure high efficiency in wheat management and distribution, while also contributing to the preservation of product quality.
Continuity in Innovation
Silos Spain's first expansion project for Alisur was completed in early 2025. In this first phase, a 4,000-tonne silo was installed and silos featuring ProMag coating technology were mounted. This project, which included elements such as an advanced insulation system, level detectors, optimised ventilation, temperature control and modern handling equipment, significantly increased the facility's efficiency and sustainability.
With this new expansion phase, Silos Spain continues to offer technological solutions that further strengthen Alisur's production capacity, making its operations safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
Commitment to Quality and the Future
This new project not only expands Alisur's operational capacity but also lays a strong foundation for the development of future grain storage and processing systems. The collaboration between Silos Spain and Alisur continues to set an example for the Chilean food and agriculture sector in terms of quality, innovation, and sustainability.
