Omas Industries is expanding its headquarters in Italy with a 7.5 million euro investment

Omas Industries, an Italy-based manufacturer of milling technologies and equipment, has launched a major expansion project at its headquarters in line with its international growth targets. The project, representing an investment of approximately 7.5 million euros, is scheduled for completion in March 2027.

As part of the project, the company aims to increase its current 6,000 square metres of covered space to 12,000 square metres. This will enable production, engineering, research and development, and corporate operations to be brought together under one roof within a larger facility.

Founded in 1966, Omas Industries now operates in more than 85 countries. The company employs over 110 staff, and following its growth in recent years, its annual turnover is reported to have reached approximately 23 million euros.

According to a statement issued by the company, the key objectives of the investment include increasing operational capacity, improving coordination between different departments and creating more space for the development of new technologies.

Luigi Nalon, Chairman and CEO of Omas Industries, stated that the new headquarters does not merely signify an increase in physical capacity, but is part of the company’s long-term growth plan. Nalon said that bringing together different teams and areas of expertise under one roof is expected to contribute to innovation and operational efficiency.

In addition to production activities, the expanded facility is planned to house technical offices, research and development units, and support services under one roof. It is reported that the new structure is designed to enable the company to manage its business processes in a more coordinated manner and to increase the capacity allocated to development work.

Human resources represent another aspect of the investment. The expanded facility is expected to provide greater opportunities for the recruitment of new staff and the professional development of existing staff, in line with the growth of the company’s international operations.

The expansion of the Italian headquarters is taking place at a time when investments in technology, production capacity and R&D are gaining importance in the global milling sector. With the new facility, Omas aims to continue its production and technical operations at a single centre with greater capacity.

Construction work on the new headquarters is ongoing, with completion scheduled for March 2027. Once the project is completed, the facility is expected to become one of the main centres from which the company’s international operations are managed and new milling technologies are developed.
