The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) is organising a free webinar to discuss the status of the 2026 maize and soya bean harvest in the US Midwest, as well as the potential impact of crop quality on storage, handling and processing.
The online event, to be held on 23 September 2026 at 13:00 CDT, will feature Dr Gretchen Mosher from Iowa State University as the speaker.
The webinar will share assessments of the quality and current status of maize and soya bean crops in the 2026 season. It will also address the potential impacts of harvest conditions on grain quality, storage and handling activities throughout the marketing year.
Key topics of the event include crop quality and condition, the outlook for maize and soya beans, storage and handling processes, and practical strategies for managing grain quality.
Held whilst the harvest is still underway, the webinar aims to provide industry professionals involved in grain storage and handling processes with up-to-date information regarding the 2026 crop season.
