The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has officially opened registration for the 2026 Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (PISC), set to take place from March 9–11 in Fort Worth, Texas. The annual event serves as one of the most important gatherings for professionals across the animal food industry, offering a platform to exchange ideas, strengthen business relationships, and explore emerging trends that are shaping the global market.
For 2026, PISC introduces a new Monday–Wednesday schedule designed to deliver greater value from the outset. The revised format provides participants with extended networking sessions and more opportunities to engage with industry peers, partners, and suppliers.
“PISC continues to serve as an essential meeting place for hundreds of animal food industry professionals to exchange ideas, address emerging challenges and build valuable connections,” said Jessica Morse, AFIA’s director of meetings and events. “The conference offers meaningful learning and collaboration opportunities, and we look forward to bringing the industry together in Fort Worth this year.”
The three-day program will feature a diverse lineup of educational sessions covering a wide range of topics relevant to ingredient suppliers, nutrition professionals, and purchasing managers. Key themes include market intelligence on vitamins, amino acids, and major ingredient sectors, as well as insights into the growing role of artificial intelligence in streamlining workflows. Attendees will also receive updates on ongoing shipping and supply chain challenges, global market opportunities, consumer trends, and economic forecasts for the grain and animal protein sectors.
As part of AFIA’s commitment to supporting international trade, the event will welcome buyer delegations from Brazil and Vietnam, who will be seeking business opportunities with American suppliers.
Beyond the business sessions and market discussions, PISC will once again offer a variety of networking and social activities. Popular features such as golf, a late-night dessert bar, goat yoga, and nightly receptions are expected to draw strong participation, fostering camaraderie among industry colleagues.
Registration is now open, with early-bird rates available until January 16. AFIA members can register for $675, while the fee for nonmembers is $2,250. After the deadline, prices increase to $885 for members and $2,650 for nonmembers. Additionally, AFIA is encouraging eligible member-company professionals in purchasing roles to apply for the Buyers to PISC scholarship program, which helps buyers who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.
With its blend of high-level discussion, international business exchange, and extensive networking opportunities, the 2026 PISC promises to be a pivotal event for stakeholders across the animal food industry.
