The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) has welcomed the appointment of Luke Lindberg as Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
In a statement, NASDA CEO Ted McKinney commended Lindberg’s commitment to advancing U.S. agricultural trade, noting the importance of strong leadership in supporting farmers and exporters.
“NASDA welcomes Under Secretary Lindberg’s enthusiasm in addressing agricultural trade challenges and opportunities for U.S. farmers,” McKinney said. “The agricultural industry needs a steadfast advocate in this role to stand with our farmers and exporters as they continue to provide safe and nutritious food to people worldwide. NASDA remains ready to collaborate closely with Under Secretary Lindberg and Secretary Rollins on these critical priorities.”
The association emphasized its readiness to work with USDA leadership to ensure U.S. agriculture remains competitive in the global marketplace.
